• To confer with other IP streams in all aspects of Data Centre planning, designing and deployment strategies.
• To monitor daily operational functions related to IP DCN Network, equipment, and routes to ensure IP DCN availability based on defined SLAs by following appropriate procedures related to all IP DCN, WLAN, WAN and LAN network.
• To maintain and validate all WLAN, LAN and WAN design on IP DCN and document all plans, topology, routing changes, and issues happening in IP DCN
• To implement, configure and maintain the network circuit redundancy via layer 2 switching and/or layer 3 routing to ensure optimum performance at all times
• To ensure that LTM  load balancing system is functioning smoothly to maximize utilization of resources through optimum distribution of incoming network traffic
• To ensure that all data connection’s access services are delivered on time with sufficient capacity, operating to required level of service.
• To maintain smooth operation of VDI, LAN and WLAN connectivity for all internal Staffs within MTNIrancell’s Offices with minimum impact.
• To perform troubleshooting for IP DCN problems in a timely manner and help provide first and second Line engineering solutions by maintaining deep knowledge of topology, and up-to-date configuration details.
• To monitor IP DCN links availability and performance, track the issues and high fault links and provide reports of all issues to ensure service availability of provided links.
• To ensure all changes/ cutovers on IP DCN are implemented with the minimum impact or outage on live NWG.
• To monitor the contractors installing the related IP transportation infrastructure and ensure that targets are achieved in terms of safety, quality and speed.
• To monitor the day to day operational function relating to IPBB Core and access equipment and network.
• To ensure IPBB node availability especially in Core, Data centre and VAS
• To support the development of a local IPBB core.
• To ensure that IPBB core and access services are delivered on time, with sufficient capacity operating to required level of service.
• To identify difference of bandwidth utilization from the defined range
• To check all IPBB manage services tasks/reports on daily basis.
• To follow and enforce IPBB SLA with Managed services.
• To document all plan, topology, changes and issue happening in IPBB network
• To provide IPBB network support of new and existing services and features.
• To support second and third tier escalations for all operational outages in IP network.
• To troubleshoot IPBB network problems quickly and help provide second line engineering solutions by maintaining deep knowledge of topology, and up-to-date configuration details.
• To document engineering solutions in accordance to in-house standards including but not limiting to the following documents: Detailed Engineering Requirements, Detailed Reference Design, and Detailed Integration Test Plan documents.
• To ensure operation of all IPBB network deployments and routes based on defined procedure by IP OPS
• To ensure all IPBB changes are implemented with the minimum impact on live NWG
• To monitor IPBB links availability and performance, track the issues and high fault links and provide reports of all issues to ensure service availability of provided links.
• To implement the operational defined procedures and policies for all IPBB network ensure all Transmission expansions are based on operational rules.
