• To establish proper interaction with other departments (ITS, EB, MKT, RA, ...) to coordinate impacts of core CS/IMS planning.
• To monitor CS/IMS Core NW traffic and optimization of the core network considering capacity and performance aspects.
• To participate in initiating and forecasting the necessary augmentation in capital projects of CS/IMS core network taking into consideration changes in the regulatory environment and technology/product roadmaps of the relevant supplier(s)
• To assist in aligning the CS/IMS core planning activities with developments in industry and devising viable solutions considering financial constraints of the company.
• To provide effective core network Circuit switching (CS) solutions and dimensioning to cater to the subscribers’ growth, new services and features.
• To prepare/audit of CS/IMS core network elements BoQ and discussions with the vendors for optimal Capex solutions.
• To liaise with suppliers and vendors on network requirements to support the agreed network operational and expansion demands and detailed CS/IMS core network planning and database planning of core elements
• To ensure that sufficient CS/IMS core network capacity is deployed with a 6-month headroom to cater for the traffic forecast.
• To contribute in design and planning of VM expansion and capacity management related to each component of NFV and provide the solution for networking and virtualized networking part.
• To control and monitor of all NFV part related to cloud HSS , vIMS , Vsps  in terms of software and hardware capacity
• To document methodologies, plans, policies and procedures for CS/IMS core network planning, record keeping of technical details on network design, implementation plans and capital projects.
• To prepare and provide documented recommendations to various departments (RA, ITS Platforms, IN, Network departments, etc.,..) by studying global trends and networking with other professionals in this field.
• To analyze impact of VAS /IN services on CS/IMS core network planning and to mould the plans accordingly
• To design the interconnection and routing to PSTN  and other PLMN  to provide interworking function.
• To engage in team working and knowledge sharing with other team members to focus on new technologies and nodes.
• Interface with any related entity within the Organization to ensure that data services and functionality are implemented timeously and using best practices.
• Collaborate in Outline futuristic data network architecture in accordance with network evolution towards 5G NSA and SA
• Design, implement, and deploy the necessary structural changes in packet core by having an E2E insight about the data network architecture (Packet core +GiLAN).
•  Compute the load of data traffic on all network components and make proper data traffic routing and migration plans.
• Deliver capacity management on core network to ensure that the packet core network is ready for planned business
• Initiate enhancement and support the ancillary networks that surround the core networks, such as Radio and IPBB.
• Co-design and implement the auxiliary node infrastructure for PS core network like PCRF, PCEF
• Co-design and implement of the auxiliary networks that surround the core networks, such as routers, switches, etc
• Design and implement of a service orientated core (SOC) as a part of the core network evolution.
• Design and implement an IoT core network which complies with the wave of development of Internet of Things.
• Plan MBB capacities and network design based on various inputs from statistics and marketing.
• Design and implement packet core virtual network functions over the cloud.
• Design and implementation of CloudEdge Solutions such as Cloud Packet Core, Cloud MSE.
• Deliver Commissioning, Integration, System Acceptance Testing (SAT) and engineering support for PS Core elements.
• Document and maintain all Site Folder Documentation and Test Logs for commissioning, integration and engineering as required
• Deliver tests and actions for Interoperability Testing (IOT) and provide engineering support for vendors as required in related areas.
• Monitor performance of Network to make sure that the planned PS services are performing correctly.
• Design and implement proper services and features to accommodate enterprise business demands.
• Design High-level and low-level designs and deliver related plans for MVNO, FCP and roaming partner interconnection
• Create catalogues for Data services that MTNIrancell can offer based on mobile broadband for Enterprise customers
• Working with and in some cases driving the vendor teams to achieve the necessary results to meet the business requirements.
