Role Software Tester About the role We’re looking for a Software Tester to join our Quality Assurance team, which makes sure our clients’ requirements are met and bugs are fixed before our software is deployed. As a Software Tester, you will be responsible for safeguarding the quality of our software delivery. You will run high-quality tests to ensure the stability and usability of our websites and applications. Responsibilities Apply multiple types of testing, including manual and automated testing, usability and browser compatibility testing, functional testing, performance testing, scalability and stability testing, black box and white box testing, API testing, security and penetration testing, regression testing, integration testing, component testing, internationalisation and localisation testing, load testing, and code reviews. Test applications, back-end architecture, and back-office systems. Work closely with other teams to plan, design, and execute several types of testing based on different objectives. Create, execute, and update manual and automated test plans. Plan and integrate various types of testing into our existing workflow. Ensure the integrity of releases by coordinating testing activities. Track and document any bugs that you find thoroughly. Suggest ideas to enhance the design, usability, and functionality of websites and applications. Identify, investigate, resolve, and document reported issues. Communicate effectively with other team members to understand the bigger picture of the organisation and its goals. Minimum requirements Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an equivalent combination of technical education, training, and work experience A solid understanding of the software development lifecycle Experience in a software or web application testing role Experience in designing and executing test plans (both automated and manual) Proficiency in one or more scripting languages, such as Python, PHP, or C/C++ Experience in agile development methods such as Scrum or Kanban Familiarity with Git Good understanding of Linux and other open-source platforms Up-to-date knowledge of the latest software testing trends Proficiency in English, both oral and written Preferred qualifications and experience A university degree in marketing Experience in Robot Framework Experience with project management tools such as Trello or Asana Experience with Postgres or another RDBMS Proficiency in Perl Perks and benefits Market-based salary Annual performance bonus Health benefits Flexi hours Location Negar Tower, Tehran
